Hello, My name is Charlotte Burnap. It all started when i was a baby. My Mum got 3 guinea pigs, all boys so i grew up with them. They where called Thomas, James .. i can't remember the other name.
Then we stopped having them because my dog had puppies.Then when i was at school we had 5 guinea pigs. There were 3 rex's and 1 tortishell and 1 self, They where called: Jolly, Polly, Molly, Poppy and Snowy. it was great fun having them because the teacher bred them at the school. But then she started breeding rabbits and the Rabbit ( Willow) had TEN babies! So she stopped breeding the guinea pigs for a while.
I still know these guinea pigs today. Then after a while of breeding at the school Miss Davis ( the teacher) totally inspired me. So i go and ask my Father if i can get 2 guinea pigs. Of course the answer is no.. for one reason we have: a Dog, a Cat, 2 mice, a hamster, a snake, a lizard and loads of fish. He thought we had too many. Well i tried to persuade his to let me have some so I made a commitment, to do all the cleaning and hoovering and i'd clean them out every week. I stuck to this commitment so out we go to get a couple of guinea pigs.
They where both dalmations, Muffin and Sherbert. They got along horrificly and Sherbert was biting Muffin and biting everyone eles, so my Dad took her back. The next day we got a new guinea pig Milly. She was adorable! I took her to my Uncles because we bought Milly in Folkstone and thats where my Uncle lived. Milly was in her little pet carrier so i opened it up to see how she was. She was absaloutly fine but she looked pregnant.. a few weeks later she had 1 rex baby! It was a big suprise!! I thought she was pregnant but she didn't look that big, i named the baby Tia and we kept her. But a couple of months later i was upset something in our family had happened . My dad asked what would make me cheer up a little, I starred at him and said can i get Muffin pregnant, he said of course.. So i bought Muffin to school with me, Miss Davis got Muffin pregnant .. so we thought. I waited impatiently for 2 and a half months and it turns out she wasn't pregnant. That made me more unhappy but the Family thing was solved and i was alot happier. One day my mum took me out too by 2 new boars, Fudge and Ripple they're called. To this day all the guinea pigs i have are still with me. Keep checking my website!
